Gaia Art: FortDingo

So after I drew my Gaia avatar on a whim and put it up in my signature on the site, I got some compliments and a few people asked me to draw their avatars. I wound up taking on this "Dream Avi" because it looked pretty cool.

There's some things I like about it, others I don't. I don't draw people in hoods very often, so that was kind of a challenge, but I think it turned out alright. The sword on the left was fun to draw but I feel like the angle is awkward. The shading over all is okay, but I had a lot of problems with it, and I'm not totally satisfied with it. But hey, it's not a style of shading I do often, so it's a learning process. I'm happy with the pose and the general feel of the piece, though.
